Biography

I received my PhD in Computer Science Engineering and my MSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna. During my PhD I visited Nokia Research Center in Cambridge (USA) and the University of Napoli Federico II.

Before joining INRIA I was a post-doc researcher at the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems (DEIS) of the University of Bologna, where I was involved in the EU ARTEMIS SP3 Smart Objects for Intelligent Applications (SOFIA) project.

Reserch Interests

My research is currently focused on the design and development of middleware for mobile social ecosystems.

My background includes designing and developing semantic-based middleware to support context-aware applications in pervasive environments (PhD topic), as well as developing smart space applications based on information interoperability (SOFIA).
