Only the citizens of the following countries are eligible for a reduced fee for COMPSTAT'2010. (The list was compiled based on the information available from
World Bank) The World Bank has provided funds through the ISI to provide partial support for a limited number of participants from developing countries for COMPSTAT-2010. The support will cover registration fees and partial support for travel and accommodation. We plan to support the participation of 5 persons with these funds. Eligibility Criteria: You will need to comply with the following requirements: a) You need to be a member of IASC; if you are not currently a member, you must join the society prior to participation in the conference. See http://isi.cbs.nl/iasc-form.asp for membership application b) You must be a citizen and full-time resident of a developing country according to the World Bank list of developing countries c) You need to present an (accepted) contributed paper. Application Process for Funding: Please send to info@compstat2010.fr with the title "World Bank support" a proof of citizenship and residency in a developing country, and a one-page cover letter which includes rationale for the funding request, the amount of funding requested, and how you will cover the remaining costs to participate in the conference).The selection will be done according to the ratings given by the referees. The application must be received by March 31, 2010. Successful applicants will be notified by April 20, 2010.
