WG4 Meeting on Authenticated Encryption
Working Group Meeting on Authenticated Encryption
The goal of this meeting is to present and discuss new results on authenticated encryption related to the Caesar competition. The meeting is free but requires registration.
When:
April 26, 2015 (from 09:30 to 15:00). Co-located with Eurocrypt 2015.
Where:
Sofia, Bulgaria.
The meeting will take place at Sofia Hotel Balkan (5, Sveta Nedelya Square, Sofia 1000) which is the same venue as Eurocrypt 2015.

Note that the hotel of the WG meetings has changed with respect with the initial announcement! Sofia Hotel Balkan is the correct venue.
Program:
Morning session (9:30-11:30)
- Dan Bernstein. Authenticated-encryption and the CAESAR competition
- Phil Rogaway. Online Authenticated-Encryption
and its Nonce-Reuse Misuse-Resistance
- Francois-Xavier Standaert. Evaluating hardware performances in symmetric crypto
Afternoon session (13:00-15:00)
Work in small groups on some Caesar candidates.
Registration:
All interested researchers from one of the countries in the COST Action IC1306 (check here for the list) are invited to participate.
The COST CryptoAction program can refund travel expenses for a limited number of participants. These stipends include the reimbursement of the flight up to 500 Euros (exceptionally 700 Euros for the most distant countries), and a flat rate of 100 Euros/night for hotel rooms (up to two nights, i.e. 25/04 and 26/04).
It is possible to attend both Eurocrypt and the WG4 meeting and to have your flight reimbursed through COST.
The meeting is free but requires registration before April 4.
