WELCOME !
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to COMPSTAT
2010, the 19th international conference on computational statistics.
This conference is held at Conservatoire National des
Arts et Métiers (CNAM), a very unique French institution of long-standing and
deep scientific tradition since 1794, with the scientific and technical support
of INRIA, the National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control.
With the help of the Scientific Programme Committee
and many reviewers, we have prepared a scientific programme which we hope very
attractive, as well as the social programme.
Besides the 3 keynote lectures and the 39 invited
communications, we received about 450 submissions. After the reviewing process
we retained 127 “long papers”, 92 “short” papers and 144 posters.
Participants come from 52 countries.
This booklet contains the detailed conference
programme as well as some practical information.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you need further
information.
We wish you all a very fruitful conference and a
pleasant stay in Paris.
