Potential function
Cell dynamics are ruled by physical interactions determined by a two dimensional potential function which accounts physical stress and binding forces.

Cancer Invasion
Cancer invasion of tissue is the hallmark of metastasis. It can be considered as a multistep process where degradation of the adjacent stroma and interaction with growth factors can alter the tumour interface and produce invasive fingers. We use a hybrid PDE-Individual based approach to study the interactions between cancer cells, the ECM and the matrix degradative enzymes .
