2 Installation procedure: UNIX

The principal instructions to follow when installing MODULEF on a UNIX machine are given in the Quick Reference at the beginning of Part iii. This chapter gives a detailed description of the installation procedure in sections 2.1 and 2.2 and the MODULEF structure in section 2.3.

Note:

• UNIX being case sensitive, the file and directory names should conform to those specified in this chapter.
• If MV is a variable, then $MV corresponds to its value.
