4.7 Tests and normal utilization

Now that you have installed the MODULEF libraries, we advise you to execute the test programs, or benchmarks, which are stored in libraries TEST, containing the source code, and TESD, containing the corresponding data, described in detail in chapters 2 and 3 in Part ii of this user guide. These tests will help locate errors which might have occurred during the implementation process, but also supply some useful utilization examples.

The length of the super array is dimensioned in each main program by one line of the form:

      PARAMETER (LM = 2 000 000)

This means that there must be 2 000 000 words available in virtual memory at execution time. This number can be changed according to the host machine and the size of the problems which are to be considered.

To conclude this chapter we remind the user that system up-dates, including possible error corrections, improvements and extensions, are distributed on a regular basis. It is therefore in the interest of all not to hesitate to contact us with regard to any functional irregularity.
