3 Visualization of solutions

From a finite element point of view, a solution can be:

• a temperature, pressure, ..., i.e. a scalar
• a velocity, displacement, flux, ..., i.e. a vector
• a stress, ..., i.e. a tensor
• etc ...

From a MODULEF point of view, the above situation corresponds to a B or TAE data structure associated with 2 structures, MAIL and COOR.

From a graphics point of view, the solution is nothing other than a scalar, a vector, or a tensor defined at a point or an element for which a graphic representation must be found.
