The user is offered different possibilities to define the function.
the function can be:
- when the time arrives, typed on the keyboard in the form
F(X,Y) = expression in X and Y;
- input as a classical Fortran function
(declaration via EXTERNAL)
- described using an array of values
T(NX,NY) (previously stored on file)
- constructed from the finite element results by interpolation
(D.S. NOPO and D.S. B).
The interpolation from P1 finite element results is enclosed in the software.
