1.1 Geometric transformations

Preprocessors APNOXX and APN3XX, described in [MODULEF User Guide - 3], are used to construct a mesh obtained via the geometric transformation of an existing mesh. These transformations only apply to P1 meshes.

In the case of an elasticity problem, preprocessor DEFNXX, which calls module DEFNOP, is used to construct a D.S. NOPO from the D.S. NOPO containing the initial mesh and the D.S. B containing the displacements. This consists of adding the displacements, multiplied by a given factor, to the corresponding nodal coordinates. In this case we consider only finite elements with a constant number of degrees of freedom per node, where the first NDIM degrees of freedom correspond to the displacements.
