Some surveys and course notes
To read these documents in PDF format, one needs a free Adobe

We offer three surveys (in English) plus a basic course (in
French):
- a presentation given for a French-Belgian-Dutch summer school
on DES on 7-11 June 1993 in Spa, Belgium
(160 Ko) ;
- a presentation initially given for a plenary session at the
11th International Conference on System Analysis and Optimization,
15-17 June 1994, Sophia-Antipolis, France, slightly revisited and
completed for a talk given to the working group
"Tropical
algebras" on 6-7 June 1996 in Paris
(412 Ko) ;
- a presentation given for a plenary session at the IFAC
Conference "Systems Structure and Control", 8-10 July 1998,
Nantes, France, apperaed in a slightly revised version in Annual
Reviews in Control
(224 Ko);
- the notes of a course given for a few years (up to 1995) at
École des Mines de Paris to undergraduate students
specializing in Automatic Control and to graduate students of the
University of Paris-Orsay (in which École des Mines is
involved). This course has been taken over since then by
Stéphane
Gaubert who used to supervise the exercises with the computer
(532 Ko);
- the notes of a two-week course given at the University of
Rosario in April 2000 (these notes are in Spanish)
(2 120 Ko).
